Only 3G and 4G and I only see 0/0kbs going through the network card
I’ve had the same SIM card for years and used the same phone for years, until I dropped it…
I was then focused on a new OnePlus, a high-end phone for a cheaper price, but then OnePlus dropping calls…
I was happy with the phone until I suddenly had no more data outside of the Wi-Fi areas. Phone calls and such did not arrive (very annoying for when you need it badly).
Tried everything and even bought a new SIM card!
At one point I turned on the Real-time Network Speed setting and what struck me was that I seemed to have an internet connection, but at those moments I was consuming 0/0kb of data. What also struck me there was that the phone never used 5G again. The screenshot below is from after I resolved the issue.

I have an unlimited subscription and I don’t have a daily data usage limit on.
Weird all, but I’m not going to bombard you with my personal story.
Option 1 – resetting the Access Points Names solved the problem for me.
The other options are ideas you can try, but I don’t know if this will help.
Reset the Access Point Names for your SIM card (In the OnePlus settings)
Is your scenario exactly the same as mine? Do you also see 0/0kbs and only 3G and 4G in your notification bar? Then this might help.
Go to Settings, go to your Mobile Network settings & select the concerning SIM card.

Select Access Point Names in the list of options.

Select the 3 dots in the upper right corner.

Click on Reset Access Points

Click on Reset Access Points again.

You’ve now reset your Access Points.
Do you see any improvement?
Let’s fix OnePlus dropping calls by resetting your Network Settings
If the above doesn’t work for you, you could do a full reset of your network settings.
This resets your network card. This includes removing all existing Wi-Fi connections. Keep this in mind.
Go to Settings & go to System Settings.
Search for Back up and reset (last on the list).

Select Reset Phone (it’s the last on the list again).

Go to Reset Network Settings

And click on Reset Network Settings again.

Hopefully this did the trick for you!
Otherwise I’d love to know what did solve it for you, so I can update the post. Can you leave a comment?
Some OnePlus users experience a green line appearing on the display, often due to software glitches, hardware faults, or accidental damage. This issue can affect screen performance and viewing quality. OnePlus has acknowledged the problem for some models and may offer free screen replacements or repairs in certain cases.
