I’ve got 3 options you can try:
Restart IIS Service.
- Go to Start,
- Search for Services.msc,
- Find the ‘World Wide Web Publishing Service(W3SVC)’,
- Restart the service.
Restart Exchange Services
- Keep Services.msc open,
- Restart all Microsoft Exchange Services, by restarting:
Microsoft Exchange active directory topology service.
Restart the server
If the above options didn’t work you can always try to restart the server.

World Wide Web Publishing Service is a component of Internet Information Services (IIS) on Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems that allows users to publish Web content for use on the Internet.
This service ensures that the web page to Outlook on the web works .
- Go to Start,
- Search for Services.msc like the image below.
- Find the ‘World Wide Web Publishing Service(W3SVC)’,
- Restart the service.
Restart Exchange Services
Restarting the Microsoft Exchange active directory topology will restart all Microsoft Exchange services.
If you restart this, the entire Exchange environment will be temporarily unavailable. keep an eye on the Microsoft Exchange services and see if all services start again. It sometimes happens that a service does not restart, which can cause even more problems.
- Keep Services.msc open,
